Sometimes we find that it is more cost effective to drain and chlorine wash a pool. This service includes us cleaning the filter as well as adding the start-up chemicals.

Backwashing your filter is essential to maintain its effectiveness, but it is not the end of filter maintenance. All filters must be periodically dismantled and given a thorough cleaning, and you’ll be amazed at the difference in performance!

If you are losing more than 2" in a week, you probably have a leak. The following is a simple test you can perform yourself. Place a bucket on the top step and fill it with water to the same level as the pool. After 24 hours, check the loss of both. If the
level of the pool water is lower than the level of water in the bucket, then you know there is a leak. There are fluctuations, and some leaks may be found with only a service call.
